What could be better for a return missionary than two baptisms the morning after you arrive home? Yes, two darling childen Grace and Isaac were baptized by their fathers in Bear Lake on July 25th!
Grace turned eight in June
And Isaac on July 17th.
It was great to have Grandparents and relatives from both families to join us for this once in a lifetime event!
Fifty people in all were there to celebrate this special day with these two terrific kids!
Kids sang:
Talks were given
And off we went to the lake. What a sweet sight:
Both came out with huge smiles. What a joy to have everyone in our family there!
Afterward the confirmations were performed at the Lighthouse. What a wonderful experience to hear those Fathers pronounce such beautiful blessings on their precious children!
After breakfast for 50, we donned our fun reunion T shirts, designed by Eli and took family pictures since we were all together for at least three more hours…the first time in three years!
Although we have a hundred pictures in Josh and Shawni’s cameras, the only ones I got were the ones of the kids. By then they were fit to be tied…literally and Lucy has just HAD IT (see behind the couch).
The parents are always the funniest part of this particular activity:
And we’re off to our last day at Bear Lake!
“Watching” the tennis final with Grandma Ruthie who came for the baptism!
Saydi and Isaac keeping this year’s crop of babies quiet.
And the 1st and 2nd place winners of the Family Tennis Tournament!
