It’s our first real blizzard of the year here. I dearly hope that doesn’t mean that winter has just begun and we’re going to have them from now until Memorial Day again this year. Luckily Dad/Richard just bought a couple of huge bamboo trees for a big surprise! I am so excited to see how long they last in this weather. Rick/Dad is sure they will still be thriving when everyone gets here for the reunion this summer. We’ll see. Listening to Hawaiian music all morning and that nice dash of green helps us to feel almost warm, sans the sun! Taking a whiff once in a while of the dried up Hawaiian lieu from last week also helps.
