One more quick post about being with Eli and Julie in DC. Cute Eli sent Julie and I out for pedicures while he tended the baby. Julie and I had a sweet time just talking and being out of the house for a while. Eli said the only requirement was that I should tell Julie three things that are the key to success with a new baby. What a guy!
Then Julie sent Eli and I out for quick trip to one of their favorite new museum finds. It was spectacular. It was originally a home designed by Phillip Johnson called the Kreeger Museum.
It had an incredible history of the family who owned it who were the Social Lights of Washington in their day and was filled with original art by Masters from Renoir to Picasso! Gorgeous art and architecture!
What a great guy! I’m so blessed to be his mother!
There were even real deer in the yard!
On the way home we made a quick stop at Georgetown University which I’d never seen! Beautiful!
That night I sent Eli and Julie out to dinner while I took are of the baby. My last few hours with that sweet baby were precious! They went to their favorite sushi place and made some new year’s resolutions!
What a treat for me! It was just Zara and I! Such expressive hands:
Here are a few shots that I captured during Eli’s photo shoot. The real photos are here! Look at this sweet foot:
And knees and elbows
Taking a break!
Proud Daddy!
And Mommy and Daddy introducing Zara to their friends in NYC on skype!
HEAVEN!
