Somewhere Noah and Kristi found a fun series of games called “MInute to Win It”. It was a hysterical group of crazy feats that needed to be accomplished in a minute. Noah set up a TV screen outside and “The Voice” on the TV told the teams about the task before them, when to began each game and rang a buzzer at the end of the minute. The team that accomplished the task first got a certain number points and the team with the most points at the end of the series of tasks won.
It was quite an amazing operation to organize those 47 crazy people! Thanks again to Josh, Shawni and Kirsti for the photos below.
Everyone had a raucous time trying to accomplish each task! Some seemed impossible. The first one involved having a slinky attached to the forehead of one person chosen by the team to try to get the slinky to swing back and go back to it’s original shape. That was really hard and no one could do it, but we sure had a good laugh trying:
Almost…..
Another game involved two people using a piece of spaghetti to make a pyramid our of empty soda cans. A few pictures are worth a thousand words!
The next game consisted of one member of the team trying to knock over a full bottle of Gatorade with a tennis ball in the bottom of a nylon stocking stretched over his/her head (which can only be explained with pictures below). Harder than it seems: Take a look:
This fun one included having a tissue box full of ping pong balls strapped around the contestant’s waist and in a minute they have to “jump out” all the balls. Pretty funny!
Everyone thought it was especially funny to have Grandfather and I hold hands and try to bounce them out. It was HARD but provided a lot of entertainments!
Some were more creative about getting those balls out than others….
Even funnier was the “Slide the cookie from your forehead to your mouth” event. I don’t’ think anyone accomplished that one but it sure was funny to watch them try!
AAAAALMOST!
The last event involved giving the assigned contestant from each team a beautiful “crown” of shaving cream and then team members tired to get as many Cheetos as possible thrown from about six feet away to stick to the crown. Who thought of these crazy things?
In the end, it turned out to be an out-and-out shaving cream fight. Perfect finale to a fun afternoon!
Thanks Noah and Kristi! It took a LOT of preparation to have all that fun!
