We have to say that the most beautiful city in Central America is Panama City! When we were here 12 years ago we were impressed with the beautiful white skyscrapers. We cold see just a few form the roof of our hotel.
Now, much more modern glass and steel abounds. The architecture is phenomenal!
The new modern Westin Hotel where we stayed was gorgeous.
Our event was on the roof of one of our hosts’ buildings. Two couples organized a wonderful event with great food and stellar couples who were also terrific parents looking for ways to un-entitle their kids!
The woman on the right was preparing for a triathlon when she hit a dog while speeding along on her bike a couple of months ago. She was unconscious for 40 minutes, life-flighted to the hospital and still had band aids to protect her scars. A “Type A “ personality she is still thinking that she may do the race in a couple of weeks. What a woman! The cute mom on the right had two advanced degrees, was at home with her three beautiful children and had such a beautiful, calm spirit!
The attendees are always so fascinating. Every person has an extraordinary story to tell about their lives. So fun to listen! The woman in the middle was expecting her third at any moment. Contractions going throughout the meeting. The man and woman on the right, Kristina and Roy (love that…it’s my dad’s name) was a financial wizard and his wife is a delight. All have advanced degrees from the US and their English is impeccable.
We happen to mention that we were flying into Honduras the next morning and the guy next to Rick basically told us that we were crazy. That airport was the 2nd most dangerous in the world (extremely short runway)! “Don’t’ go outside your hotel, he said. It’s really dangerous! ” We were exacted to add a little spice to our lives! Honduras, here we come!
