Just a few snapshots of some of our favorite things about our month at Bear Lake!
Like sand mermaids?
Learning about ancestors from Grandma Great’s new book:
Horse riding:
Grandfather riding (possible because of those big feet):
Cousin bonding (and bonked heads):
Thousands of miles on the Big Mama before replacement of Big Papa with every conceivable combination of relatives:
The first tandem skiers of the summer, Grace and Ana (BFF).
Reading with Grandma Great:
Jacobson’s first summer at Bear Lake:
24th of July chuck wagon breakfast, with the Pavillion as the “wagon”.
Handmade Treasure Chests created with Grandfather…complete with their own secret combination lock.
Kids lining up at the bar for food, food and more food…(We averaged about 100 meals a day.)
The year of labeling your “stuff”…
Sand, Sand and more sand!
And the year of Lucy and “Where’s Dora?”
So goodbye for another year to our beloved Bear Lake…
What a summer! Every year gets bigger and better! How blessed we are to have had so many for so long!
