Besides the organized activities, we had nice spaces of time for just having unorganized fun together! Our trusty old ski boat still provides a plethora of hours of fun on the skis, “the tube” and the wake board. In addition to that, there was relaxing time to just play in the water and at the beach with it’s endless variety of things to create fun.
Pictures can tell so much more than words so here are a few “play pictures”. Many are taken by Elle (who also took many you have seen on the last few blog posts). She is a photographer in her own right and even though her mom doesn’t always know where her amazing camera is, she figures it’s worth it!
Some people were more interested in lizards…
A new sailboat provided hours of fun this year much to Grandfather’s delight. I’m sure some of the kids wondered why we got a sailboat instead of a new ski boat but they soon agreed that it was a good purchase.
All the kids LOVED it!
Grandfather’s new baby!
One of the great new forms of “play” this year was Elle and Ashton’s remarkable abilities to make videos of what was happening. I’m saving them for the last post on the reunion. They are simply amazing! The other kids looked on in awe!
There’s nothing quite like FIN!
