Reunion Finale and Videos

There’s no way to fit in everything that happened during our four exciting, electric, eccentric, excellent, energetic, entertaining and exceptional days together at our annual reunion.

Many thanks go to Noah and Kristi and their ingenuity and care of details while balancing trying to feed and care for their own four kids under eight whilst making the the music video, ordering the sweat shirts, getting the supplies for the games and activities, tying a projector on top of their car all the way from California so we could enjoy the music video, hysterical old videos (one too long for this post but coming later) and old pictures found by Josh in the Eyre archives.

We even got a chance to watch short video clips collected from a video made over thirty years ago of my mom and dad telling stories a few weeks before my dad passed away. Some of our in-laws and none of our grandchildren had ever seen my mom and dad. Thanks to Josh for making that happen.

Thanks also goes to our older grandchildren who are now becoming photographers and videographers in their own right. Fifteen-year-old Elle (with Ashton’s help) made the stellar video you will find at the end of this post that so perfectly captures the essence of our precious days together. Thanks Elle!

On the last night, we had to thank Tal and Anita who organized last year’s splendid reunion and brought beautiful fire-lanterns to send off into the sky last year but because of the fire danger we couldn’t let them go. Finally sending them off this year was positively magical!

Sad to see that last beautiful night end!  BUT take a look at all the fun we had. Thanks Elle for putting this together for a fabulous synopsis of all the fun we had!

And if you missed the music video from the first, here it is again….
